The #MdM Open Accommodation Center was filled with the smell of freshly baked cookies, cakes and other sweets. Early in the morning, the women hosted began the festive preparations with their children, who enjoyed the pleasant bustle in the kitchen, which was encouraged by the MdM team.
The Center “A Step Forward” offers quality housing and a comprehensive framework of support services for vulnerable women and their children living in precarious conditions. In addition to the protection and support provided during the asylum application process, the Center ensures psychosocial empowerment and legal assistance. In this way, women have the opportunity to become autonomous and claim the life they deserve, taking an important step forward.
