The women and children from MdM’s Open Accommodation Center “A Step Forward” enjoyed a refreshing summer day out at Schinias-Marathon National Park. Swimming in the sea, playing games, and relaxing under the pine trees brought different languages and cultures even closer, creating tighter bonds and unforgettable memories.

During the excursion they all explored the park’s unique natural beauty and learned about about its ecological importance. The Park, part of the European network of protected areas Natura 2000, hosts rich habitats and rare species of plants and animals. This hands-on time in nature really showed everyone how much we all need to respect and care for the environment to keep it thriving for the future.
