A group of scouts from France (EEIF) visited Médecins du Monde Greece, where they had the opportunity to learn about the work of MdM.
In the framework of their scheduled visit, the French scouts were given a tour of the accommodation facilities of Médecins du Monde. They made pastries at the vulnerable women’s accommodation center “A Step Forward”, which they then served to the guests of the MdM’s Night Shelter for the Homeless.
At the same time, in cooperation with the Municipality of Alimos, the scouts participated in an informative action of Médecins du Monde on the environment in Alimos beach.
MdM and the French scouts distributed to the people ecological information leaflets on the protection of the environment and thus the protection of the health of citizens, as well as ecological ashtrays.
Among other things, they also visited the Social Grocery of Alimos where they helped in the packaging of food which is given to vulnerable people in need, and were informed about the social policy of the Municipality.
